One last grunt and shudder and his body collapses softly sideways against the broad chest, arm half-carelessly around his wife, face into Max's skin until he catches his breath. Solace murmurs something and Dia's surprised giggle stretches Stephen's lips into a smile. Heartbeats slow into the warm tangle of limbs and bodies sweet with languor.
Each of them wanders; each of them goes home; each of them comes back to this. Tensions rise and meet and climax, over and over, until hungers are sated and rest takes over. Fingers trail skin, gentle, lingering; exhaustion leads to not sleep, but love.
