"Yeah they won't mind." She assured him, "He was that bad? I'm glad you stayed, Max." She was. She wouldn't wish any sort of harm on Stephen.

"Sweet, I'm glad both of you are taking a day for yourselves." She ran her fingers through his hair, "You both do deserve it. We can go over together. I'd like to see Sol and see how Stephen's doing. If he was that bad, he might need a friendly face or two." She knew he'd still be worried and she was too now that he'd explained things. But they couldn't do anything tonight, and Max needed her care right now.
